Yes Rooney can be compared with contonna.This chip will bring him more high and confidence.
He just need to score on a regular basis.Once he starts scoring he is even better than his senior

as for rooney, unless he consistantly produces the goods, he will always be one good player with potential for greatness...
I agree Rooney have the potential in terms of flair and vision of Cantona. However he seems not able to impose himself on a game. Recently he has been flitering out of the game only showing occasional brillance.
He needs to be able to gain more experience then I believe he will get better
